Today we’re visiting with a newer member of the Stars Antiques family, Jim Kubess. Jim is known as The Sherwood Pedlar and is dealer #62 at the Stars shop. His space is a mecca for vintage advertising! If you’re looking for old signs, salvaged gas station signs and fixtures, colorful oil cans, cool Coca Cola loot, vintage soda glasses–this space will blow your mind! Come down to the shop and check it out. Here is a fun Q&A with Jim:

When the farm properties began disappearing in Sherwood, I started picking the things left behind by the farmers.
How long have you been a dealer?

Advertising and farm items.
What is your dream vintage score?
To find the unopened box of Coca-Cola buttons in some warehouse.
Do you collect some specific things for your own home?
God bless my wife, she has allowed me to decorate our home in advertising!
Any vintage shopping tips?
Be nice, be fair and good deals will come.
How do you like to unwind?
