It just sold, but here are some photos of Charlotte Sharp’s (Splendid dealer #62) 1886 C.S. Bell & Co. farm bell and stand. Quite a beauty, isn’t it? Charlotte says, “I think this wonderful old relic would be fantastic in a backyard or patio setting. The bell rings clear (and loud)! I’m sure it summoned a lot of farm hands in it’s heyday!”
I’m sure whoever took this wonderful piece home is pleased as punch. Our dealers find such interesting things to bring into their spaces–it’s fun when you can find a bit of history on the objects.
