Bunny Tales

Last year was our first year for the Stars Easter Egg Hunt. Little did we know how much fun everyone was going to have. Forget the kids, all the adults were seriously into finding an Easter egg. It didn’t hurt that each of the plastic eggs had a prize inside. I had a last minute worry that we would have a flurry of egg hunters that would just rush in and trash the place. Not to worry. Stars customers have manners. But to insure that everyone played by the same rules, we posted the official ones right at the front of the store. Those same rules apply this year too.

rules to hunt by

So Easter is later this year, the 24th of April. Who decides that date? No matter, the Easter Bunny has been busy gathering up all of the prizes that will be hidden in 200 plastic eggs hidden in both stores. One hundred per store. We contracted with The Easter Bunny earlier in the year to be back for our Easter Egg Hunt. The Bunny as they like to be called has the same agent at Santa, The Tooth Fairy and a number of other holiday deities. Once the papers were signed we knew that The Bunny would be on the job for us.

One of the points in The Bunny’s contract was that we had to give out hints for egg locations in the stores. We tried to fight this clause but The Bunny would not back down. Frankly we argued, our Stars customers are pretty bright. They really don’t need any help with finding a plastic colored egg. We lost that fight. So each day this week leading up to Easter Sunday, we will having a Hunting Hint posted here on the blog, on the Stars website at Let’s Shop, Stars Facebook and Stars Twitter.

Here is our Monday hint. We still don’t think you need it but whatever makes The Bunny happy makes us happy.

hint: lets spend easter together. just find me first
